The Founder
Mohammad Saleem
Muhammad Saleem is a dedicated social worker from Haridwar, who founded the Sahara Deep Trust with the goal of bringing light, hope and meaningful change to his community. Under his leadership, the Trust focuses on education for underprivileged children and girls, support for widows and the elderly, promoting inter-faith unity, and organising emergency ambulance services and wildlife water-arrangements.
Born and raised in the region, Saleem deep connection to his roots shines through in his grassroots approach: personally visiting villages, listening to people’s worries, and turning compassion into action. He believes that real transformation begins with everyday solidarity, and this belief drives the Trust’s motto — “Light to Every Heart.”
